Cynthia Erivo is leaving fans awestruck with another achievement, following the success of Wicked, alongside Ariana Grande.
The 38-year-old is determined to take her fans on a poignant journey that teases a wide range of emotions, including heartbreak, love, forgiveness, rebirth, and new beginnings.
Erivo took to her Instagram on Thursday, April 10, to announce the release of her second full-length solo album I Forgive You with her upcoming single Worst of Me.
Teasing her much-anticipated album, the British actress wrote in the caption, “I forgive you- my second album will be out June 6th.”
In addition, the singer-songwriter, known for her iconic role as Elphaba in the musical adaptation, opened up about her personal and professional journey.
She further went on to add, “Over the last 2+ years, between all the flights, the filming, the interviews, and the awards shows, I went to the studio with my dear friend @williamfwells and created this project for you and me. This album, this collection of songs, is something I’m so proud to share with you.
“First with Replay, and now/today/tonight with Worst of Me. I gave you one chapter with the first album, and now I have a couple more for you. Thank you in advance for coming with me on this journey.”
For the unversed, I Forgive You is slated to release on June 6 via Verve Records/ Republic Records.
