Ozzy Osbourne's son Jack gives insight into his forthcoming biopic
Jack Osbourne opens up about his late father Ozzy Osbourne's upcoming biopic
Jack Osbourne recently got candid and opened up about his late father Ozzy Osbourne’s biopic.
While conversing with E! News, the 40-year-old British-American media personality claimed that his family has completed the script for Ozzy’s biopic and now they are in a talking stage with different directors.
He told the outlet that they are considering someone special to portray their late father, the Prince of Darkness.
Jack said, “It’s gung-ho. We do. I’m not allowed to say, but conversations have been had, and if it all works out, it’s gonna be awesome.”
The New York Minute star went on to elaborate, “I have this mantra, and I always say it, when in meetings with my mom or doing anything with the family business. It’s, ‘give the fans what they want.’ That’s our people, that’s who we’re catering for, that’s what my dad wrote music for, that’s what he toured for, it’s why we did the shows we did. It’s been a big theme.”
“Because we’re doing the Ozzy movie with Sony, and I’m always saying in the meetings, ‘We’ve got to give the fans what they want. We can’t make this artsy, esoteric biopic.’ No, we’re not doing that—for many reasons—but it’s not what the fans want,” Jack explained.
It is pertinent to mention that Ozzy Osbourne, the frontman of Black Sabbath, succumbed to a cardiac arrest caused by an acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) at the age of 76 on July 22, 2025. Other factors that contributed to his death were coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease.
