Taylor Swift’s recording studio owner recalls rare details from debut album
Taylor Swift recorded her early music at this estate: details inside
Taylor Swift’s early music was recorded at The Manor in Tennessee and the owner recalled meeting the popstar when she was 15.
Robin Crow, the owner of Dark Horse Estate, shared his experience meeting Swift at the beginning of her career when she visited the property in Nashville.
The Manor is based on a 14,000 sq. ft mansion which is enough for up to 18 guests at a time on one side, while on the other side are three private recording studios, where the Grammy winner recorded music as a teenager, according to People Magazine.
Looking back at his meeting with the Anti-Hero hitmaker he shared, “At the time, I think I met her once or twice in the couple of weeks that she was recording here, and I never gave it a second thought. And now, she's the biggest artist in the world.”
Gushing about the Eras Tour performer, he added, “I've seen record companies throw so much money behind an artist and nothing will happen. Then you have another situation like Taylor Swift, and it's just magic and everything kind of lines up.”
Crow went on to add that after Swift, he has seen a number of artists come to the mansion and record their music, including Kings of Leon who were “out here for over three months recording,” and Shawn Mendes “who was here for three weeks and he stayed in the manor.”
