Why Kate Middleton's next expected public appearance is a special one
The Princess of Wales has come a long way since announcing her cancer diagnosis last year
After a challenging past year, Kate Middleton’s next public appearance will be a meaningful one.
According to Hello! Magazine's royal correspondent Danielle Stacey, the Princess of Wales is expected to possibly attend the Easter Sunday service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor with Prince William and their children.
While nothing has been confirmed yet, it would mark her first Easter appearance since revealing her cancer diagnosis.
“Kate is still making a gradual return to her public duties amid her recovery,” Stacey noted, adding that any confirmation likely won’t come until the day itself.
The Easter Sunday service is a cornerstone royal tradition, often drawing out extended members of the Firm for a rare joint outing. This time last year, the Princess quietly attended the family’s Easter gathering just days after privately learning of her diagnosis.
Kate has already made several notable appearances in recent months, including the Commonwealth Day service, a Holocaust Memorial Day event, and her surprise showing at the St. Patrick’s Day parade.
