Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan reportedly had a tiff after their collaborative project fell apart.
The director and actor duo were supposedly going to work together on Dostana 2. But, as per the rumours, the two had a rift which is why the film never happened.
In a recent interview, the Luka Chuppi actor was asked about his intentions of working with the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director.
The Screen Magazine showed the 34-year-old actor a photo featuring him and Karan. The picture showed the director pulling the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor’s ear.
After taking a look at the image, Aaryan laughed and stated: "Ispe kya bolu? (What do I say to this). I think yeh love and hate relationship hai... Bahut ache yeh photo represent karti hai.”
(I think this is a love and hate relationship. This photo represents that very well.)
He went on to say: “Yeh moment tab ka hai jab hum logo ne pehli film, jo humari honi thi kabhi, voh sign ki thi. Toh tab ka moment hai. I think he knew ki main... photo pehle se le li thi.”
(This was the moment when our first film, which was going to happen, was signed. This was then. I think he knew that I... so he took the picture beforehand).
On the work front, the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor is all set to feature in Johar’s upcoming project.
