Aamir Khan quits long-standing habit for son Junaid
Junaid Khan all set to share screen with Khushi Kapoor in 'Loveyapa'
Aamir Khan, who was an addictive smoker, announced at the trailer launch of his son Junaid’s new film that he has quit this bad habit.
Khan admitted at the Loveyapa trailer launch that smoking is something he loved and enjoyed. However, he also confessed that it was not a good habit and nobody should do it.
“Smoking is something I love very much, it is something I enjoy”, he added.
The PK actor went on to say: “I have been smoking for so many years, then I started pipe. I am happy that I gave up this bad habit. This was not a good habit and the reason behind it is really special.”
The very special reason attached behind this decision was his son.
The 59-year-old mentioned he pledged to himself that the 31-year-old is now kickstarting his professional career. Whether his film works or not, I would still quit smoking as a father.
The 3 Idiots star swore to himself that he would sacrifice this habit for his son. “And I hope that in many universes he will go and do something”, Khan concluded.
This new confession of Aamir’s moved everybody in the audience as he received loud cheers and appreciation over his decision.
Meanwhile, Junaid is all set to mark his appearance on screen with Khushi Kapoor in a romantic comedy, set to release on January 7.
