A source spilled to Life & Style magazine, “Selena adores Benny, and she’s got zero doubt in her mind that they’ll last.”

An insider explained, “Selena wouldn’t have said yes to his proposal otherwise.”

“But at the end of the day, the singer has to protect herself,” said a source.

It is pertinent to mention that Benny is ready to tie the knot as he popped the question to the Only Murders in the Building actress last month.

After Benny’s proposal, Selena happily shared her engagement news on December 11 via Instagram.

Explaining why it’s important for the singer and actress to protect herself, the source noted that Selena became an official billionaire in September because of her Rare Beauty brand.

“It’s a business Selena built from scratch and is justifiably proud and protective over,” stated an insider.

Interestingly, Selena is “excited to do all the normal bridal checklist stuff, like dress shopping, flower shopping, food tastings, with her friends,” per an insider.

However, the source mentioned that Benny doesn’t have an issue with signing a prenup agreement before tying the knot with Selena.

Benny, who has an estimated net worth of $50 million, “totally gets it and wouldn’t dream of challenging Selena on this issue at all,” stated an insider.

The source pointed out, “Benny’s pretty successful, too, so it’s not like he’s going to be dependent on Selena to support him.”

“That’s one of the things she loves about him most,” added an insider.
