Halsey is going to write a new series for Amazon production
Halsey has recently turned into a TV writer as she collaborates with director Ti West on an upcoming Amazon series.
Halsey, whose real name is Ashley Frangipane, will reportedly write a dark comedy series, Bloodlust, which is currently in development at Amazon MGM Studios, per IndieWire.
An insider told the outlet that the singer will be the creator, writer as well as an executive producer while Ti will direct the series.
Mark Friedman will also serve as showrunner and an executive producer.
It is pertinent to mention that the details about the series are still under wraps and even the casting has not been confirmed.
Earlier this year, Halsey previously appeared in a horror movie, MaXXXine but she also appeared in the movie, Americana as well as made a cameo in A Star is Born.
Halsey also wrote the Max original If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power in 2021, and in 2019 she was a host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live.
Interestingly, Ti will also make a comeback to TV after he worked on series like Tales from the Loop, The Resident and The Exorcist.
MaXXXine is going to be his third movie in a horror trilogy that also includes 2022’s X and Pearl.
Meanwhile, Halsey is represented by UTA and The Lede Company.
