Govinda’s statement about ‘accidental self-shooting incident’ fails to convince police
Govinda accidentally shoots himself with his 20-years-old revolver
Actor Govinda, after accidentally shooting himself with his own revolver, provided a statement to the Juhu Police which did not really convince them.
Partner actor, in a statement, told the police that his 20-years-old pistol was unlocked when he was cleaning it which led to a misfire.
The statement left police skeptical. They were not fully convinced and may call him in to further investigate the matter.
Moreover, Govinda’s daughter Tina Ahuja’s statement has also been documented after interrogation.
Earlier yesterday, the 60-year-old actor accidentally shot himself in the leg with his own gun. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital after the incident.
According to the Coolie No. 1 actor’s manager, Shahshi Sinha, the doctor’s have removed the bullet and his condition is now stable.
While he was in the hospital, his close companions including Shatrughan Sinha and David Dhawan paid him a visit to see if he was doing well.
Govinda will most likely be discharged from the hospital by the end of the week, reports Pinkvilla.
