Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan issues first statement after winning the best actor award at the International Indian Film Academy Awards.
Referring to his return to Bollywood after a hiatus of four years, King Khan expressed gratitude towards his fans as he stepped up to collect the award.
He turned towards the crowd and said, "I think I have a little happiness from the audience this year because I worked (again) after a long time."
The Pathaan actor, who is known for his spectacular performance worldwide, announced, "I love awards, I'm greedy about awards. I just want to tell you it's good to be back."
On professional front, Srk made a phenomenal return to the big screen with his biggest success story last year.
The 58-year-old actor made a dramatic pivot, transitioning from romantic lead to rugged action hero.
