Pakistan to attract foreign investors to invest in Gawadar: Ahsan Iqbal
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning Commission Ahsan Iqbal said Wednesday that the government took steps to attract Chinese and other investors across the world to invest in Gwadar.
While talking to private news channel, he said that we should address the difficulties of Baloch people besides development of Gwadar.
The minister said the speed of development at Gwadar would increase with every single project coming on the ground under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
He said that Pakistan’s exports would increase after compeletion of Gwadar port adding that connective roads with other parts of the country would be completed at the end of this year.
This was the most advanced port in the whole region, the minister said.
The government has declared tax free zone to Gwadar for twenty three years, he concluded.
