Dubai Mall: 'World's most visited place', getting $408 million expansion

Burj Khalifa making progress is not the only thing happening in Dubai as the most visited place in the world existing in this city is getting a major expansion.
Dubai is home to the world's deepest dive pool by the name of Deep Dive Dubai and world’s largest shopping mall known as Dubai mall, according to Fact Dubai.
The makers of the Dubai mall have announced the expansion of the mega shopping haven.
Dubai Mall's upgrade will include an additional 240 luxury outlets. It currently houses 1,200 retail stores. Moreover, the number of 160 dining outlets will also be increased as part of the new expansion that is estimated to cost over $408 million.
With 105 million visitors, Dubai Mall gained the title of the world’s most visited place last year. Notably, this was a 19% increase from the year earlier.
Dubai Mall grew bigger in 2019 after being originally opened in 2008 and introduced Dubai Mall Zabeel which brought more lifestyle and dining concepts. In addition, 3,000 more parking spaces were also included in this building.
