Olivia Rodrigo and Lily Allen thrilled fans at her GUTS World Tour stop in London by bringing out Lily Allen for a surprise duet.
Two years after they last took the stage together in Glastonbuy, Rodrigo, 21, introduced Allen at the O2 Arena during her concert on Friday, May 17.
“The best day of my whole career was when I got to sing with her a few years ago at Glastonbury,” the young Grammy winner teased, before welcoming her fellow musician.
“I absolutely adore her. Would you please give it up for Ms. Lily Allen!” she announced to the anticipating crowd.
The 39-year-old English singer-songwriter then joined Rodrigo on stage to perform the former’s 2006 hit, Smile.
After the show, Allen took to her Instagram to share behind-the-scenes photos and express her gratitude.
Likewise, Rodrigo couldn’t contain her own excitement on Instagram, writing on her Stories, “Last night at the O2 with the coolest girl in the whole world.”
The pair previously teamed up at Glastonbury in 2022 to perform Allen's 2008 song F*** You, which Rodrigo dedicated to "the five members of the Supreme Court who have showed us that at the end of the day, they truly don’t give a s*** about freedom," following the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
