Tabu spoke for the first time after getting announced as the part of Hollywood project, Dune: Prophecy in which she will be collaborating with global stars Emily Watson and Olivia Williams.
During an interview with Pinkvilla, the 52-year-old actress expressed her excitement and shared her overwhelming reaction to the franchise, renowned for winning six Academy Awards.
Revealing that she's enthusiastic to share screen with global stars, she said, “I am thrilled to be a part of the massive global franchise, Dune: Prophecy, and to be working with some of the most brilliant creators, actors, and crew in the industry."
The Drishyam actress divulged, "I am looking forward to bringing the show to the homes and hearts of the audience through JioCinema.”
In the project, Tabu will portray the character of Sister Francesc, which draws inspiration from Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson's novel, Sisterhood of Dune, depicting a character described as strong, intelligent, and captivating.
For the unversed, this isn't Tabu's first foray into the global arena, she has previously featured in numerous international films and series such as A Suitable Boy, Life of Pi, and The Namesake.
