Varun Dhawan heaps praise on Kiran Rao's film 'Laapataa Ladies'

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan gave a glowing review of Kiran Rao-directed project backed by Aamir Khan, Laapataa Ladies.

Taking to his Instagram on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, the 37-year-old actor expressed that he admired everything in the film, and showered love and praise on the cast.

While sharing the poster of the film, the Main Tera Hero actor penned, “JUST LOVED LAAPATAA LADIES @raodyness.” 

Commending the post, Varun further penned, “So well performed by each and every cast member loved everything about it @aafilms.official.”

The film, Laapataa Ladies, was released on September 8, 2023.

The stellar cast of the movie includes Ravi Kishan, Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam, Durgesh Kumar, Satendra Soni, and Sparsh Srivastav.

The plot of Laapataa Ladies centers on two brides who unintentionally exchange places on a train. Their journey leads to a heartwarming tale of self-discovery, praised for its witty humor and performances. Adapted from a story by Biplab Goswami, the film has garnered awards.

Regarding his professional endeavors, Varun is set to appear in the Prime Video series Citadel: Honey Bunny alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

Additionally, he has the film Baby John, directed by A Kaleeswaran, previously known as VD18.
