Sara Ali Khan opts for Ranbir Kapoor over Ranveer Singh for modern rom-com with Sharmila Tagore

Sara Ali Khan chose Ranbir Kapoor over Ranveer Singh to co-star with Sharmila Tagore in a modern romantic comedy.

During her appearance at a recent event with grandmother, Sara was asked of who she would envision starring alongside Sharmila in a modern romantic comedy and had to decide between Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor.

On which the Love Aaj Kal actress chose Ranbir and explained she thinks that the Animal actor is the ideal pick to star alongside Sharmila.

She said, “Ranbir Kapoor. I think that you need class to star opposite badi amma.”

However, when the Aradhana actress expressed her disapproval with a nod, Sara chuckled and said, “So, who do you want? Ranveer Singh?” on which Sharmila  responded, “Why not?,” Sara then joked, “So, Ranveer Singh it is.”

During the discussions, Sara also talked about the relationship between her mother, Amrita Singh, and Sharmila. 

The 28-year-old actress said, “My mom doesn’t have parents, but if anything were to happen to me or Ibrahim, I know that she wouldn’t be alone because Badi Amma will be there, and that’s everything."
