Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor admitted that her body reached its limits during training for Mr & Mrs Mahi.
During a promotional event for Mr & Mrs Mahi, the 27-year-old actress disclosed that she endured numerous injuries while filming.
The Bawaal actress also mentioned contemplating giving up during the shoot.
Offering insight into how the filmmaker, Sharan Sharma wanted to shoot the film in the best way, Janhvi exclaimed, “During Mili, I began training. It took two years. Our director works with utmost purity and honesty.”
“He wanted me to become a complete cricketer. He didn't want any kind of cheating, like using VFX or incomplete work. He wanted me to succeed and be immersed in this world completely,” she added.
Talking about the injuries that she endured while filming, Janhvi revealed both my shoulders got dislocated.
The Dhadak famed said, “I faced many injuries; both my shoulders were dislocated. But all the credit goes to them and to my two coaches - Abhishek Nair and Vikrant sir. Both of them have worked very hard."
"At every turn, I felt like giving up, like it's not happening. My body was giving up. But they gave me a lot of courage.”
Alongside Janhvi, Mr & Mrs Mahi also stars Rajkummar Rao in the leading role. The film will be released in theaters on May 31, 2024.
