Soccer legend Lionel Messi was spotted at the Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics game on Monday night, enjoying his time off from Inter Miami duties, Times of India reported.
The Argentine player was accompanied by his Inter Miami teammates Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, and Luis Suarez.
The group entered the arena from the players parking garage and were escorted to the VIP lounge.
Although, Messi has attended the arena for previous basketball matches, this was his first time after permanently reallocating to Miami.
The Inter Miami team recently defeated New England Revelation team by scoring four goals against their one.
The five time Ballon d’Or award winner scored two goals in an outstanding performance. He also set a new record by reaching 1,200 career assists.
In the Major League Soccer, Inter Miami currently lead the Eastern Conference with the highest points in the league.
Inter Miami stand as the best team in the entire Major League Soccer, while New England remains at the bottom of the league with four points.
On the 11th day of the tournament, Inter Miami will take on the New York Red Bulls, and New England will visit the Chicago Fire in "The Windy City".
