Ivanka Trump, like many curious minds, on Monday witnessed this year's first solar eclipse, sharing the rare celestial moment with her followers on social media.
Donald Trump's eldest daughter shared an update on the eclipse with her followers on Instagram, but while several areas in the United States experienced a Total Solar Eclipse, she was only able to witness a partial solar eclipse.
This was because Ivanka, 42, was in Miami when the celestial event occurred and the city was not in the path of totality for the Total Solar Eclipse.
The former White House advisor captured a video of the moment which she then posted on her Instagram story, to share it with her followers.
She captioned the story: "The partial solar eclipse in Miami..."
Ivanka's father, former president Trump also joined in on the solar eclipse frenzy across the US but he got a little creative with his celebration.
Trump — who is bidding for the Oval Office once against after his unceremonious departure from the White House in 2021 — released a video showing his shadow covering the sun, implying that he is soon to take over the reins of the US administration after the November reelection.
While her father is caught up in the middle of court cases and his presidential campaign, Ivanka has stayed away from the drama.
Instead, she has been spending time with her family and was previously attending other events like the pre-wedding celebrations of Asia's richest man Mukesh Ambani's son, Anant Ambani and his fiancee Radhika Merchant.
