Apple's 'next big thing' are home robots?
Steve Jobs's company introduces household robots after Vision Pro headset
Apple is currently working on a venture into household robots, which might become the company's "next big thing" after the Vision Pro headset and having abandoned its decades-long effort to develop a self-driving electric automobile.
The company's AI and machine-learning team and hardware engineering division are allegedly collaborating on the prospective new device.
Marc Gurman of Bloomberg stated that Apple engineers are thinking of creating a mobile robot that can follow customers around the house, citing people with knowledge of the project.
According to The Guardian, Apple announced a 2% increase in sales at the end of the previous year, ending a four-quarter streak of dropping revenue.
However, the situation for the people who created the iPhone is not good. During that quarter, its revenues in China fell from $23.9 billion to $20.8 billion.
Moreover, iPad sales decreased to $7 billion from $9 billion over the same period last year. The publicly traded corporation is under more pressure to explore new revenue streams as a result of everything.
