Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, Kriti Sanon's female-lead film 'Crew' creates history

Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon's film Crew created history as it became the highest opening-day grosser female-lead Hindi movie.

The movie, which was released yesterday, March 29, has earned INR 20 crores globally. 

On March 20, the lead cast of the film Kareena, Tabu and Kriti expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards their fans for showering love on their trio. 

Kriti and Tabu shared the exciting news on Instagram and wrote, "HISTORIC! We are overwhelmed with love for our Crew! The Biggest Female-Led opener in the History of Hindi Cinema Worldwide! Crew is in Cinemas NOW."

On the other hand, the Jab We Met actress extended love towards the producers of her film, Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor.

Kareena wrote, "Round 2 with @rheakapoor, @ektarkapoor and me…What started with Veere Di Wedding and now continues with CREW."

Speaking of her co-stars, the mother-of-two said, So lucky to be on board with these lovely ladies @kritisanon, @tabutiful & the amazing @rajoosworld. We got this." 

Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, the film has been jointly produced by Ekta Kapoor, Rhea, Anil Kapoor, and Digvijay Purohit.

Apart from Tabu, Kareena and Kriti, Crew also features Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, Rajesh Sharma and Saswata Chatterjee.
