Anushka Sharma once revealed that she took long breaks between films in order to choose the "right script."
The Bollywood actress, who is celebrating her 36th birthday today, May 1, detailed her strategy behind signing "great script."
During an old interview with Filmfare, Anushka said, "It’s so hard for people to believe that someone would like to take time off to be rejuvenated."
She added, "You shouldn’t deny yourself that because it’s important to be able to think fresh. Then you can take the right decisions. You need to have a balanced mind to take the right calls in life."
"I’ve been reading scripts. I’m dying to sign a great script and get back on the set. That’s what I love doing the most. I want to feel creatively charged," the Sultan actress shared.
On the personal front, Anushka and her husband-cricketer Virat Kohli welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Akaay, on February 15, 2024.
The power couple B-town also shares a 3-year-old daughter named Vamika.
On the professional front, Anushka will next seen in a sports biopic film Chakda Xpress.
