Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani set to star in romantic-comedy film

Sidharth Malhotra provided an update on his forthcoming romantic comedy project featuring Kiara Advani.

In an interview with ETimes, the 39-year-old actor affirmed that a romantic comedy alongside his wife Kiara Advani is definitely being considered.

During the conversation, the Student of the Year actor also revealed that the film will be backed by Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar.

Sidharth said, “Oh yeah, that’s very much on the table. We can’t say for sure, but we were very interested in working together and finding the correct script combination, where both of us justify our roles."

"Also, the audience gets to see us after Shershaah, which we got a lot of love for. It is about getting the correct elements in place," he added.

In discussing his recent film Yodha, in which he co-stars alongside Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani, Sidharth expressed his continued support despite its lackluster performance at the box office, affirming that "there is nothing to process."

The Mission Majnu star expressed his belief that he consistently selects projects of which he can be proud.

He explained, “Do you bring the quality to it? Is there a narrative? Is there a storytelling? Is this something new that you are portraying and putting out? And for me, Yodha has ticked all those boxes."
