Sara Ali Khan talks about being raised in 'secular family'
Sara Ali Khan said she would never apologise for her religious beliefs
Sara Ali Khan opened up about being raised in a secular family, saying she will not apologise for her religious beliefs.
The Bollywood actress, who is the daughter of former couple Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, said she has learned to stand against anything wrong.
In conversation with Galatta India, the actress shared, "I was born to a secular family, in a sovereign, secular, democratic republic."
Sara added, "The spirit of standing up against what is wrong is within me. So, if I see it happening to not just me, but anybody around me, I will stand up."
The actress revealed that she is okay with being criticised for her work but not for her personal choices.
"My religious beliefs, my food choices, how I decide to go to the airport, that’s my decision, and I’ll never apologise for that," she said.
On the professional front, Sara was last seen in a film titled Murder Mubarak, which is now available on Netflix.
The mystery thriller movie also featured known actors including Pankaj Tripathi, Vijay Varma, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, and others.
