Jeremy Renner recalls ‘heartwarming’ way Robert Downey Jr helped recovery

Jeremy Renner felt like he was "dating" his pal Robert Downey Jr. as he was recuperating from his 2023 snow plough accident.
During an Interview with People Magazine, the Hawkeye star spilled the beans on how the Oscar-winning actor cheered him up after the tragedy.
Referring to their FaceTime calls, Renner jokingly deemed them "[felt] like we were dating or something."
Mayor of Kingstown actor explained, "He’s like, 'Dude, the most important thing is you look good. I don’t care how you feel, as long as you look good, that’s all that matters.'"
Renner further shared that the Oppenheimer star and his wife were also big fans of his crime thriller series, so the former urged him to recover soon and head back to work on the program.
"He’s like, 'You’ve got to get back to do Mayor because we need to see what happens,'" Renner expressed, "His ways are very heartwarming."
For the unversed, Renner suffered from several injuries, including eight ribs broken from 14 places in 2023.
