Following the Kansas City Chief's historic victory in the Super Bowl 2024 on Sunday—their second consecutive and third overall, a video of Travis Kelce yelling at his coach Andy Reid has gone viral on social media, Daily Mail reported.
Kelce later admitted to wearing a mic and said, "Ah, you guys saw that? I’m going to keep it between us unless my mic’d up tells the world."
On Tuesday's episode of "Inside the NFL Show," Kelce was spared from the embarrassment of his explosive outburst.
The audio was taken out even though Kelce's inappropriate activity was displayed, and it was soon replaced with footage of Reid and Kelce fist bumping.
In the video, Kelce could be seen slamming his helmet on the ground in reaction to being asked to sit on the sidelines, after which he pushes Reid and starts screaming at him.
When asked about the incident later, both Kelce and Reid brushed off the topic, with Kelce saying, “I owe my entire career to that guy, and I just love him, man.”
Reid downplayed the situation, saying, "Kelce keeps him young."
This is not the first time Kelce has gotten physical with his Kansas City Chiefs coach. When the Chiefs lost on Christmas Day to the Las Vegas Raiders, Kelce slammed his helmet to the ground and barged Reid with his shoulder.
Kelce's singer-star girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was also in attendance to see the Super Bowl match.
