WATCH: Viral 'chicken tikka masala cupcake' recipe takes internet by storm
People lost their calm after watching the viral video, asking the user to stop experimenting with "desi recipes"
Time and again, we have seen people experiment with bizarre food combinations, but this time a netizen has taken it way too far.
Recently, a user posted a video of the viral chicken tikka masala cupcake, and it’s safe to say people are losing their calm.
As shared on Instagram by Succhefful, the process of making this unconventional dish begins with mixing chicken tikka masala with baking powder, which is then scooped into a cupcake tray to take shape, India Today reported.
After baking, the cupcakes are topped with an unusual combination of melted chocolate mixed with rice, completing the creation. The result is so bad that it will hurt the soul of every person.
The video was shared with the caption, "Your Indian friends will love my chicken tikka masala cupcakes. Thanks, Coach Cheran, for this recipe idea."
Most people were quite open with their criticism of the recipe, while the rest urged people to stop experimenting with "desi recipes."
The comment section under the post is filled with comments, with one user writing, "I am surprised why India hasn't declared war on this dude."
Another user said, "Honestly, I am disgusted."
Some users extended their support as well, saying, "I am an Indian, and I support these cupcakes."
