Ananya Pandey breaks silence on viral 'struggle' jibe by Siddhant Chaturvedi
Ananya Pandey and Siddhant Chaturvedi will be next seen in a romantic drama film 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan'
Ananya Pandey recently addressed the viral 'struggle' comment made by her co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi.
The new on-screen pair called that moment an 'ice-breaker' as the two embarked on a journey of friendship from that controversial interview.
In conversation with Film Companion, the Dream Girl 2 actress reacted, saying, "Yeah, and then it went into a glacier on the first day of our friendship."
Speaking of her bond with Siddhant, Ananya shared, "With Sid, I can just call him and tell him what I feel."
She continued, "If I felt that something was not okay, whether personally and professionally, or he felt something was not fine, we have always told each other and that’s the way we have kept it. It’s a good way to be with anyone."
Meanwhile, the Gehraiyaan star also clarified that the incident has never affected their friendship.
For the unversed, Ananya and Siddhant made their acting debuts in 2019 with Student of the Year 2 and Gully Boy, respectively.
In 2020, the two appeared in a newcomers roundtable discussion hosted by Rajeev Masand.
During the conversation, Ananya, who belongs to a renowned Bollywood family, linked her immediate success in the film industry with Koffee With Karan's appearances.
In response to her comment, Siddhant said, "The difference is their struggle begins where our dreams are fulfilled," which went viral on social media.
