Argentinean envoy calls on CADD minister

Islamabad: Minister of State for the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary on Wednesday said the division was striving to make Islamabad an ideal destination for diplomatic community.

He stated that while talking to newly appointed ambassador of Argentina to Pakistan Ivan Ivanissevich, who called on him here.

Dr. Tariq welcomed the newly appointed ambassador to Pakistan and hoped that his stay in Pakistan would be a pleasant experience. He said that according to the vision of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Islamabad is being developed as a world class model capital.

The beautification of the city’s parks, reconstruction of roads and infrastructure, preservation of Marghalla Hills Forest and arrangement of cultural and social events and such other projects for the development of the city would attract the diplomatic community, he said.

He also apprised the newly appointed ambassador on Polyclinic’s extension project and informed him that one of the floors of the proposed new building of the hospital will be named after Argentine.
