Lili Reinhart and Cooper Raiff revealed their heartfelt experience of sharing the screen with Mark Ruffalo in Hal & Harper.
The duo who plays titular roles in Hal & Harper, gushed about their co-star Ruffalo.
In a joint interview with the People magazine, the Riverdale actress said having The Avengers star on set is "like having your dad around."
Sharing their reason why, Raiff, who also wrote and directed the series, said, "He's a very light, very spiritual person, and being with him is so, he is just a very, very kind heart, and he's kind to everyone."
He added that Ruffalo is "extremely down to earth and it’s very freeing to be around him, because he’s so lovely. He's amazing."
Raiff went on to say, "He’s so funny and he’s so daddy," to which Reinhart echoed, "He’s our daddy."
Their relationship goes so deep that when Poor Things came out in 2023, which earned Ruffalo his fourth Oscar nomination, Reinhart was shocked. "I was like, 'Dad!'" she recalled.
The series follows Ruffalo who plays a complicated father mourning the loss of his wife.
The show explores how that grief impacts his kids, Hal and Harper, through two different timelines, back when they are in their elementary school and when they are adults.
Hal & Harper was released on October 19 and airs on every Sunday on MUBI.
