Life comes to a standstill in India, after heavy rainfall
NEW DELHI: Life in many Indian states has come to a standstill after torrential rains caused flash flooding and have claimed over 100 lives.
According to sources, Gujrat, Rajasthan, Orissa, Himachal Pradesh as well parts of west Bengal are affected by the rain. Rescue teams are struggling to rescue those affected by the rains.

According to sources, Gujrat, Rajasthan, Orissa, Himachal Pradesh as well parts of west Bengal are affected by the rain. Rescue teams are struggling to rescue those affected by the rains.
Sources add that over 100 people have lost their lives in rain related incidents while 8 million have been affected by the floods.
To help those migrating to higher plains, the government has set up temporary camps for the affected.
