Punjab govt seeks copter for security of Zimbabwe team

LAHORE: The Punjab government has demanded helicopter from Interior Ministry for surveillance and security of the Zimbabwe cricket team, touring Pakistan from May 19.

However, sources said, the ministry has advised the provincial government to avoid using the copter as presence of it will get more attention, adding that more security should be kept secret as it will increase problems for the players.

It further says, the security of the touring players be made foolproof. The ministry assured the provincial government for fully cooperation in the security of guest team.
