Canon showcases host of new cameras at Japan exhibition

KARACHI: Canon put on display a host of exciting new products at the CP+ Camera and Photo Imaging Show held in Yokohama, Japan last week.

Amongst other products, the camera and imaging pioneers showcased a host of new models including DSLRs and compact cameras, as well as new lenses and sensors.

Amongst new products launched are Canon’s two flagship EOS 5DSR and EOS 5DS cameras, featuring Canon’s highest resolution to date, at 50.6 MP, as well as a 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor with dual DIGIC 6 image processors.

The two cameras “mark a milestone in Canon’s range of DSLRs, with their breakthrough high image resolution in the 35mm format,” says Hideaki Nishimura, Senior Director and General Manager at Canon Singapore.

In addition to these two cameras, Canon also used the exhibition to showcase their new EOS 760D and EOS 750D models, aimed at amateur photographers, and combining a simple interface with the imaging capabilities of 24.2 megapixel CMOS sensors.
