Islamabad Bahria University (BU) organised two-day Sports Gala 2015 for its affiliated medical colleges and constituent units at its premises, says press release. BU Rector Vice Admiral Tanveer Faiz HI(M) has inaugurated the opening ceremony and congratulated all the teams and their officials from all colleges and said that this sports gala has played in the best of spirit which is indeed the essence of sports. Along with the rush and excitement of enthusiasm and applauding different teams and participants in the hall of sports, participants from Bahria University Medical & Dental College, Karachi; Yusra Medical & Dental College, Islamabad; Frontier Medical College, Abbottabad; Islamabad Medical & Dental College and Rawal Institute of Health Sciences, Islamabad, had played and participated in table tennis, basketball, badminton, volley ball matches. It constituted of matches which includes basketball, table tennis, volleyball & badminton in which students were participating with passion and enthusiasm. Students from all medical & dental colleges got a chance to become part of Bahria Community, interact and form an association. Moreover, it highlighted the fact that these two days, spent in sporting arena will help in building a mutual coordination and feel of harmony amongst the students of Bahria CUs & AUs, which is indeed the idea behind the sports gala.
