An 18-year-old girl allegedly ended her life by hanging herself from a ceiling fan at her house located at Sector 15, Block D, of the Orangi Town.
According to the Pakistan Bazaar police, rescuers moved the body to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy. The girl was identified as Ayesha, daughter of Asif. According to SHO Muhammad Iqbal, the family told the police that Ayesha had mental illness and that she committed suicide. The police said the girl’s father told them Ayesha’s siblings, who also have mental health conditions, had taken a cell phone from her after which she was disturbed.
