Four Karachi districts get new DCs
The deputy commissioners (DCs) of four districts of Karachi were transferred by the Sindh government on Monday.
According to the notification issued by Sindh Chief Secretary Mumtaz Ali Shah, Dr Muhammad Bakhsh, who was the DC of District Central, was transferred and made District Korangi’s DC. Arfan Salam, who was serving as District Korangi’s DC, was directed to report to the Sindh Services, General Administration, and Coordination Department (SGA&C).
Taha Saleem, who was earlier posted in the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, was transferred and posted as District Central’s DC. Shahryar Gul, who was working in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, has been made District West’s DC in place of Saleemullah Odho, who has been asked to report to the SGA&C Department. Asif Jan Siddiqui, who was the project director of the Sindh Secondary Education Improvement Project, was made District East’s DC.
