Patient pensioners

Earlier this year, the government announced a 25 percent increase in salaries of federal government employees after they took to the streets and demanded an increment. In the 2021-2022, the government announced an additional increase of 10 percent for federal government employees, which means they now enjoy a 35 percent increase in their salaries.

On the other hand, pensioners who are the country’s senior citizens and need more financial support, have been badly treated. They have been given only a 10 percent increase. At this old age, these people deserve the special attention of the state.
