MINGORA: Several residents of Aloch area in Shangla district on Saturday asked the government, chief justice, chief minister and inspector general of police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to recover their sisters from the captivity of some people.

Addressing a press conference at Swat Press Club , Abdul Wadood along with his mother, brother and other relatives alleged that six months ago, his sister Shabnam, a headmistress in the local school, was allegedly kidnapped by one Kaptanullah while she was returning home from school.

He said the accused was also supported by several others identified as Taj Muhammad, Umar Wahid, Zafrullah, and Noor Rahman.

“Kaptanullah prepared a fake nikah deed after kidnapping her. We lodged an FIR and the police recovered Shabnam on the order of the court, and arrested the culprits,” Abdul Wadood claimed, saying that later the accused was released on bail.

He said that his sister had also submitted a case in the family court for the dissolution of the marriage.

“On Friday night, Kaptanullah along with other culprits entered the house, while armed with automatic weapons, and they beat up males and females of the house and abducted my sister Shabnam. We have lodged the FIR, but the police have not arrested the criminals yet,” Abdul Wadood said, adding that the culprits were powerful people and had political support in the area.
