LAHORE:Hot and humid weather was witnessed in the City here Tuesday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said that continental air was prevailing over most parts while a shallow westerly wave was affecting upper parts of the country. They predicted that mainly hot and dry weather was expected in most areas while very hot in upper Sindh, South Punjab and northeast Balochistan. Rainfall was only observed at DG Khan, Babusar, Hunza, Bagrote and Barkhan. Tuesday’s maximum temperature was recorded at Sibbi and Dadu where mercury reached 45°C while in Lahore, it was 40.5°C and minimum was 27.4°C.
