HYDERABAD: The police here on Saturday gunned down an outlaw while his two others managed to flee following an encounter in the jurisdiction of the Taluka Hyderabad City.
According to the police, the patrolling team of Tando Yusuf Police Station had tried to intercept three suspects on motorcycles near Badin Chalk of Tando Yusuf Railway crossing last night. The suspects started firing and tried to escape from the spot while taking advantage of darkness. However, the police retaliated as a result one outlaw was shot dead while the other two escaped.
The deceased outlaw had been identified as Husain Bakhsh son of Imam Bakhsh, who was involved in the killing of policeman Khuda Bakhsh and injuring another Aijaz Chuck in the jurisdiction of the Cantonment Police Station in 2014, a police spokesman said.
He added that the deceased outlaw was also involved in heinous crimes of target killing, murder, dacoity and robbery.
The police also seized a weapon and a motorcycle from the possession of the deceased outlaw, the spokesman added. In another encounter, which took place in the jurisdiction of the Baldia Police Station, police arrested two outlaws Imtiaz son of Deodar Ali Bund and Ali Asghar son of Ali Gauhar Bund and recovered lethal weapons from their possession.
