Forbidden meat

Having distinguished ourselves beyond measure in the field of corruption we are now looking to conquer new frontiers in the field of the forbidden. The latest revelations about pig meat being sold by the tons in this so-called Islamic Republic have sent a shudder down the spine of this tortured republic. This is a stark reminder of lucre being the ultimate god.
For all anyone knows any number of denizens of the republic might already have consumed this forbidden meat in any number of meat preparations being sold in the country. As is the norm in this country, nothing will happen to those involved in this despicable act because nothing much has happened to similar criminals in the past other than perfunctory pronouncements of bringing them to justice, whatever that means.
