3 cops booked for embezzling recovered local, foreign currency

FAISALABAD: The FIA Thursday booked three sub-inspectors on charges of misappropriating recovered local and foreign currency worth millions of rupees in different cases. SI Abid Hussain, Muhammad Jawaid and Ajmal Hussain were booked and SI Ajmal Hussain reportedly was arrested. The embezzlement was traced during a thorough checking of the recovered items by FIA Additional Director Abdur Rab Nadeem. Further investigation is underway.
