Hopeless results

This refers to the letter, ‘KP change’ (July 28) by Amir Haider Panjpir. The results shown by the two schools in the ninth class at Mardan were really hopeless (none passed in the arts group while only six passed in the science group out of 104 students).
One wonders whether anybody was looking after the education sector in a province that boasted of ‘change’. Was anybody performing their duties as required to do? It is strange that both the schools did not have principals for a long time. On the one hand, we cry hoarse about non-availability of jobs while on the other hand different posts are deliberately kept vacant. The situation demands that complete hierarchy in the education department should be maintained.
