Vawda asks citizens not to make cash donations

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda has said that citizens should not make cash donation in Dam funds. During an interview with anchor Saleem Safi in the Geo’s programme ‘Jirga’ on Saturday the minister said that the government has no check and balance on the former chief justice Saqib Nisar’s Dam funds campaign. He asked citizens not to make cash donations in Dam funds but whatever transaction they intend to make in Dam funds should be carried out in form of cross cheque or bank draft.
