Custodian of Eidgah Shrine Pir Muhammad Naqeeb-ur-Rehman has stressed the need to follow the teachings of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) to ensure peace, brotherhood and sectarian harmony in the society.
Addressing the participants of International Melad Conference held here at Eidgah Sharif on Monday, he said love and affection with Allah Almighty’s last Messenger was essential for unity and harmony among various sects and faiths. He said, teachings and practices of Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) hold equal significance for Muslims in every age. “We as a Muslims cannot succeed in this life and life hereafter without following in the footprints of Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), says a press release issued here.
He said solution to our social, economic and family problems exists in following teachings of Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). He said that our Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) gave message of peace and love in the world and the lovers of Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) should spread the message. He said the message of Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) was based on strong, social justice and equality, who gave voice and recognition to the weak in the society.
He said Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) actually laid the foundation of a new culture and heritage in the land of Arabs and changed the entire lives of nomads in just twenty three years.
Sahibzada Hassan Haseeb-ur-Rehman, Allama Kaukab Noorani, Pir HabibUllah Ghamgol Sharif, Ex-Federal Minister Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, Dr. Syed Tahir Raza Bukhari D.G. Auqaf Punjab, Mufti Liaquat Hussain, Muhammad Moosa (Madina), Moulana Syed Shabbir Sialvi, Dr. GhazanfarMedhi, Ex-MNA & Metro Bus Project Chairman Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, Raja Rahib Rasheed (UK), Mansoor Waheed (USA) addressed the occasion. Whereas the Naat Khawans including Fasihud din Suhurward, Tahir Qadri, Yousaf Memon, Qari Muhammad Younas, recited Na’ats in their unique style and warmed the audience with love and devotion of Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him).
A large number of devotees from across the country and abroad participated in the annual International Milad Conference at Eidgah. Special prayers were also offered for peace, progress and prosperity of the country and Ummah by Pir Muhammad Naqeeb-ur-Rehman.
