Pet show at IMSciences
PESHAWAR: The Art and Culture Society of the IMSciences arranged a pet show to provide students with an opportunity to exhibit the domesticated species. Dr Muhammad Mohsin Khan, Director IMSciences, was the chief guest. Dr Khalid of the Government Veterinary Department was the judge for the event, which attended by the IMSciences students. The occasion saw a variety of the unique breeds of dogs such as the Alaskan Husky, Rottweiler, Chihuahua and a black Russian terrier. Almost all the cats were Persian but varied breed-wise. The animals were judged and were given awards on the basis of their breed, training and obedience. Among the dogs, a German Shepherd secured 1st position whereas a pug and a Rottweiler secured 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively. Among the cats, a Persian cat and a Persian punch face cat secured 1st and 2nd positions.
