Time for change

Former Punjab governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar is a very capable person. He accepted the post to improve the image and governance of this country. Unfortunately, he had to call it quits because of the indifferent attitude of the government machinery and its total failure on almost all fronts of governance. The land and other mafias are so strong that they have made the government hostage in each and every district of the country. This is sufficient enough to suggest that things are not moving in the right direction.
The government seems helpless. All hopes pinned with the new setup after the general elections have dashed and the situation continues to go from bad to worse with each passing day. One fails to understand why our ministers are unable to deliver when they have all the resources and power to bring about a good change. Chaudhry Sarwar’s exit is a clear signal that all is not well and if the present situation continues than the government is heading for big trouble and its survival is at stake. The time for change has come.
