Unique event organised by Jang Media Group attracts advertisers, media
LAHORE: The five-day Newspaper and Digital Advertising Expo started at the Crystal Hall of the PC Hotel on Wednesday. The rare event was organised by the Jang Media Group (JMG).
Representatives from old and new advertising companies and media houses attended the event in a large number. Talking to the media on the occasion, JMG Director Marketing (North) Saadia Sharif said the Jang Media Group has always been taking initiatives to introduce innovations. The ongoing expo is one such step where small and medium advertisers were told about benefits of links with the Jang Group.
During the advertisement fair, seven seminars were organised at 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, 2:30pm, 4pm, 5:30pm and 7pm, where lectures were delivered on subjects including Finance and Commerce, Lifestyle, Entertainment, Home Makers, Youth, Literature, Technology, Current Affairs, Religion, Social Issues and Sports.
The expected new clients were briefed on effectiveness of the print media and the Jang Group circulation. They were told how to boost their business after reaching 9 million viewers through effective and concessional advertising packages offered by the Jang Group. A large number of advertisers took keen interest in 60 per cent concessional newspaper and internet packages of daily Jang, The News and Awaz and got themselves registered.
The expo will continue till May 29 (Saturday) for which online registration is being done on www.jangmediaworks.com. The interested advertisers can attend seminars at a time of their choice and avail from the advertisement packages. After registration, media houses in Lahore can also win a Honda Civic through draw.
