JI workers arrest flayed

LAHORE
Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Senator Sirajul Haq, Secretary General Liaqat Baloch and all deputy chiefs have strongly condemned the arrests of the JI workers in Karachi and police baton charge on them for protesting against the arrests of their colleagues, and said the government could not deny the citizens their democratic right to protest.
The JI leaders said police tyranny and abuse of state power could not deter the JI workers as the public meetings, peaceful rallies. They stressed upon the provincial government and the district governments to end outages instead of blocking protests.
