The rupee on Tuesday maintained its overnight levels against the dollar as the demand from importers and companies was muted, currency dealers said. The rupee ended 104.85 to the greenback, unchanged from the previous close in the interbank foreign exchange market. The rupee-dollar parity remained range-bound and traded in the band of 104.80/104.85 due to lack of interest by market participants. The domestic currency traded at 107.10/104.30 for buying and selling against the dollar in kerb market.
